Seasons and Weather in Bocas del Toro

Bocas del Toro enjoys a tropical climate that makes it a popular destination year-round. However, like many tropical regions, the weather can vary between the wet and dry seasons. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect.

Humidity: Bocas del Toro experiences high humidity year-round, often around 80-90%. This is typical for tropical destinations, so expect the air to feel warm and moist.

Winds: Winds are generally light, though they can pick up during the rainy season, especially during storms. The island's coastal location makes it an excellent spot for sailing and windsurfing

Water Temperature: The Caribbean waters surrounding Bocas del Toro remain warm year-round, typically between 78°F (25°C) and 82°F (28°C), perfect for swimming and diving.

Dry Season (Dec-April): Sunny, dry, warm – ideal for beach activities, water sports, and exploring.

Rainy Season (May-Nov): More frequent rain, higher humidity, lush landscapes, and quieter atmospheres – great for nature lovers and surfers.

Transitional Months (April & November): A mix of both dry and wet conditions, with pleasant temperatures.

No matter when you visit, Bocas del Toro's tropical beauty and unique charm make it a fantastic year-round destination!

        Our resident hummingbirds

Dozens of hummingbirds bring life and energy to Pachamama Bay Club, flitting gracefully between flowers and filling the garden with their soothing buzz.
